PTC Foundation Trust (PFT) Collaborated with Extramarks Education Foundation (EEF) for improving Quality of Education in Army Goodwill Schools (AGS) in the bordering areas of J&K through a digital education program under Project PEHAL.

PTC India Ltd is the major player in power trading sector in the country. PTC India Ltd has two sister companies namely PTC Energy Ltd and PTC India Financial Services Ltd. As a responsible corporate citizens, all three group companies are committed to ensure the social upliftment of the communities in which it operates through Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives.

Moving towards the goal of effective CSR, the PTC group companies decided to establish a trust named as ‘PTC Foundation’. The trust is responsible for undertaking socially useful programs for the welfare and sustainable development of communities at large.

Project Details:

Project PEHAL will focus on improving quality of education by implementing this project which facilitates 10 digital classrooms, 130 educational tablets, Career Assessment Programme and Capacity building through pedagogy and technology based training for the period of three years. There would be a dedicated PEHAL Coordinator to handhold teachers in the first year of the intervention and under the train the trainer Programme, teacher-mentors and PEHAL student monitors would be developed within the school for sustainability.
